Currently, spy photos of ZEEKR’s new SUV model, codenamed CX1E, have been exposed on the Internet. ZEEKR has launched the ZEEKR 001, a mid-to-large safari coupe, the ZEEKR 009, a medium-to-large MPV, the ZEEKR X, a compact SUV, and the ZEEKR 007, a medium-sized sedan, but it still lacks a main SUV model. In the future, the CX1E is expected to be an SUV model for the mainstream consumer market. It will be on the same line as the Lynk & Co 09 during the production ramp-up period. If the ramp-up goes smoothly, the Lynk & Co 09 will be moved from the current production line and the production capacity will be increased. Give it all to ZEEKR CX1E. The new car will be officially put into production at the end of 2024.
In terms of appearance, the overall size of the ZEEKR CX1E is significantly larger than that of the ZEEKR X. Its body size is basically the same as the old Tesla Model 3 behind it. The Model 3 is a medium-sized car, and the ZEEKR CX1E is expected to be a medium-sized SUV.
ZEEKR CX1E adopts a new family front face design similar to ZEEKR 007. The upper part is an LED light strip, the lower part is a headlight set, and the entire car light is an integrated design. There are arc-shaped ridges on both sides of the engine cover, which is consistent with the design of ZEEKR 007.
On the side of the body, the new car focuses on the creation of space as a whole. It is not designed to be too dynamic like the previous model to ensure the seating space in the front and rear rows. At the same time, the new car also has a wide C-pillar, and it is expected that the storage space in the trunk will be good. The entire rear of the vehicle maintains a round and thick design.
In terms of interior, ZEEKR CX1E has a similar design to 007, including a fan-shaped instrument panel and a square floating central control screen. The steering wheel adopts a new style design, canceling the button area under the steering wheel and returning to the traditional steering wheel design.
ZEEKR personalized design pays more attention to the creation of space.
